Enhancement of De-Nitrification in Sewage Treatment Plant
Basic Sewage Treatment Plant using Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) with superior performance of BOD & COD removal where Nitrate formed from Nitrification of Ammonia is weak because of MBR required excessive aeration for reduction of Sludge Cake formed on membrane surface. By incorporation of Anoxic Treatment in upstream of MBR result in De-Nitrification Process and the effluent of Sewage Treatment Plant will be greatly improved by handling Nitrate as well. It is just adding an Anoxic Tank with minimum impact to the overall construction cost of the Sewage Treatment Plant.
